Terms & Guidelines

Registration

  • Your registration becomes final as soon as it’s submitted — tickets are non-refundable.
  • You are in charge of organizing your own travel and accommodation.
  • You’re welcome to register solo — a partner is not required.
  • Once accepted, your event pass must be paid in full immediately.

Refunds & Pass Transfers

  • Event passes and competition entry fees are non-refundable, including in cases where specific parts of the program cannot take place (e.g., a teacher cancels due to illness or flight delays).
  • If you can’t attend, you can transfer your pass to another person. Please email us at info@bachatabeyond.com with their full contact details and relevant info.
  • Pass transfers will be accepted until November 9, 2025.
  • Transfers of passes will cost a fee of 5 Euro per transfer.

Event Changes or Cancellation

  • Bachata Beyond may cancel the event if there are not enough registrations or due to unforeseeable events (like natural disasters or emergencies). In such cases, we will refund the cost of your ticket. No other costs or claims will be reimbursed.
  • If a scheduled teacher cannot attend, the organizers reserve the right to appoint a suitable replacement.

General Participation Rules

  • Event wristbands must be worn at all times and shown at the entrance to classes and socials.
  • Bachata Beyond is not liable for personal belongings or any injuries sustained during the event.
  • Dancing involves physical activity, so we ask all participants to be mindful of their own safety and that of others.
  • Underage guests (under 18) must have a legal guardian present after midnight to remain at the event. Please provide your guardian’s name at check-in. People under 16 are not allowed.
  • At anytime our Code of Conduct must be respected.

Media & Recordings

  • By registering, you give us permission to photograph, film, and record during the event. These materials may be used for future promotion on serval platforms.
  • You’re welcome to take your own pictures and short clips! Feel free to share them with the community and tag us on social media.
  • Full-length recordings of workshops or classes are only allowed with prior written approval from the organizers.

Dance Etiquette – The Spirit of Rolerotation

  • Although this event celebrates Role Rotation in bachata, always check with your partner before switching roles or jumping into a dance. Respect is key.
  • Remember: No one is obligated to dance. A “no” is totally valid—please respect personal boundaries and don’t take it personally.
